St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance teaches people first aid – about 800,000 last year alone – so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
We provide this charity organisation with vital property maintenance support covering their South West portfolio of HQ’s and training centres. We have dealt with a variety of issues including plumbing, roofing, electrical and decorating. Our first-class record in health and safety means we are able to meet their strict criteria to carry out work on their sites.
Mr & Mrs Munroe
Down on the farm we have dealt with various electrical issues for the Munroe’s over the years. Every visit throws up something completely different at us and their hospitable demeaner make them an engineer’s favourite. Works undertaken cover anything from replacing a broken socket in the house, LED light upgrades in the cow barn or a CCTV installation from scratch. We never know what might happen next and nor do they!
The independent Market Frome
The Frome Independent is an award-winning, destination street market that reclaims Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the South West.

Often working around school hours and having to come and go undetected we understand the sensitive nature of such work environments. As part of the new 3G pitch project we installed a defibrillator unit to help save lives. Deadlines for this were tight and we had to work out-of-hours, but we managed to complete on schedule.
The Athenaeum (Warminster)
The Atheneum Community Centre is a Grade II listed building and has a long and colourful history of use; from a literary institution, to a cinema, school, theatre, and now a centre for the community.
Working on this site often sees us working with English Heritage due to the nature of such a sensitive building. Heating, lighting and security infrastructure have been carefully modernised over the years to a high standard.
We have currently completed an installation of an electric vehicles charging point for Mr Edwards. Frome design, installation and completing the grant application we have worked closely with Mr Edwards to ensure that the project was completed smoothly, efficiently and with the satisfaction of all of those involved. It always feels good to help improve the environment.
Frome Museum in Frome, Somerset, houses a collection of local history with displays of many local industrial artefacts, maps & photos. The collections include local archaeological and historical artefacts related to the historical development of Frome and district.
Over the years we have tackled a whole host of maintenance issues as and when they arise plus all the electrical testing for this client. Recently we helped design and install a new network and Wi-Fi installation and fitted lighting for the new J. W. Singer exhibition. It's an unusual environment to work in at times but it keeps us on our toes.
